Small Groups for Growing in Your Faith

Faith UMC is committed to providing opportunities throughout the week and the year for all of our community to engage. Below are opportunities to open hearts and minds in seeking deeper understanding of ourselves in relation to Christ and the world.

  • Faith Reads

    3rd Saturdays • 11:30 am

Here at Faith, we celebrate reading as an endless source of energy, creative ideas, deep challenges, and joyful discovery. So, if you love to read, or just know you need to do some more — please join us on the 3rd Saturdays of each month at 11:30 am as we gather in the Community Room to share a potluck meal and discuss our latest book.

  • Faith and Photography

    2nd Mondays • 6:00 pm

Faith & Photography is a fellowship of artisan observers seeking to use our craft to be intentional about seeking images of God, images of Kingdom and images that call us to both. We invite you to join us on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm for fellowship, an opportunity to learn and to be of service to our community.

Faith & Photography would love to take photos for your next event. Please feel free to contact them if you would like for them to save the memories of your events. For more information, contact Linda Stroud.

  • Small Group Bible Study

    9:30 a.m. Group

Please visit pages for Children and Youth for programming and opportunities specific to their needs.

Disciples is facilitated by Casey Wallace. The members of this group engage in scripture study, Wesleyan studies and the consideration of Christian doctrine as they seek to conform their lives to the image of God. They meet in room #101 at the east end of the hall.

Faith Meets Life is facilitated by Derrell Jones. This class seeks to engage scripture in a verse by verse walk thru the Bible. The class engages the text through discussion and reflection to develop a broader knowledge and deeper understanding. They meet in room

#104 at the east end of the hall.

    11:00 a.m. Group

Are you sometimes perplexed with Jesus’s teaching? Do you really want what he wants? Illuminate Community Group will be using the book Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living by Rueben P. Job. They meet in room #106 at 11:00 am.

  • JOY - Just Older Youth (Seniors) Game Day

    1st & 3rd Thursdays from 1:30-4:00 pm

We meet in the Community Room. Bring your favorite snacks and games. If you have questions, please contact Stephanie Cooksey or June Mitschke via email

  • Faith Matters Community Group

    Sundays at 9:30 am

Faith Matters is an adult community group that meets each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in room 104. We have a leader/discussion format as we seek to apply the teachings of the Bible to our everyday lives. Rosie Johnsen is our leader, but all group members are encouraged to bring information they have discovered regarding the scripture which greatly enhances our discussions.

We strive to develop a “family atmosphere” in our group where we keep up to date on what is going on in our lives and support one another as well as rejoice with one another as we grow in our faith journey.

Come be a part of our Faith Matters family.

Faith Fusion

Faith Fusion is devoted to bringing people, all people, together to serve God, fellowship with one another and make a difference collectively.

It’s important to build relationships with those with whom we join in worship each week. Sometimes this can be difficult, and it may be hard to break the ice and get involved. Faith Fusion can help you do this.

Throughout the year, we offer fun events and activities that make it easy for you to get connected. Whether you are single, married, have a family, are new to Faith or a seasoned attendee, there is something for everyone.

Stay tuned for more information about the exciting things Faith Fusion is doing. If you would like to connect or serve with us, whether on a one-time or ongoing basis, just let us know! Contact Diane Scott.
