The Breakfast Club

2nd Thursdays • 9:30 a.m.

The Breakfast Club meets on a monthly basis on the 2nd Thursday morning at 9:30 am at iHOP (the one near the intersection of Sawdust and Rayford). It provides an opportunity for the women in our community to gather with other Christian women in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's an adult activity. We share a meal, laughter, and friendship. The only requirement is showing up at 9:30 am sharp so we can get the table set up large enough for everyone. For more information contact Ali Strand, call/text 281-799-7891 or email.

Moms in Faith

Wednesdays, Bi-Monthly - 9:15-11:00 a.m.

The Moms in Faith ministry aims to develop spiritual growth and relationships with other moms muddling through the daily blessings, struggles and questions of raising children all in fellowship and fun. With focus on Bible studies, fun activities, discussions and encouragement, Moms in Faith is a great place to build our mom tribe.

We meet bi-monthly on Wednesdays from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. for Bible study and activities. Our fellowship continues outside those hours to include Ladies Night Out, play dates and other events.  Dates for our bi-monthly meetings are: September 19th,

October 3rd, October 17th, November 7th, November 28th, and December 12.

Our Ladies Night Out Dinners are: October 25, November 15 and December 6. We will select a restaurant when it gets closer to the date. These dinners are open to all ladies, not just our Moms in Faith group.

Childcare is available by emailing the names and ages of your children to childcare@faithumcspring.org. For more information, email Jenny Stripling, Jenny.Stripling@gmail.com or Shauna Murphree, Shaunamurphree@gmail.com.

MATTS

MATTS, Moms Aiming Toward Teen Success, is a ministry to encourage and support moms of teens. MATTS is back and ready for all of our moms to chat about how being back to school is treating us. If you're a mom of a tween or teen, bring a friend and join us for lunch. Join us Sunday, October 21st at 12:30 pm.  Please RSVP so we know how many tables to reserve. For more information and to RSVP, contact Stephanie Provo at stephanieprovo@hotmail.com.

UMW Sewing & UMCOR Sewing

1st Tuesdays of each month from 10:00 am - 3:00 p.m.

These two groups sew school bags and simple baby nightgowns. These items are sent to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). No sewing skills are required to join this group, just a desire to be creative and have fun while doing something good. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy the fellowship. For more information contact Darlene Hayes or Rosie Johnsen

Hooked on Faith Needle Arts Group

If you are interested in learning the art of crochet, knitting, embroidery, or helping make Plarn (mats for the homeless made from plastic bags) and using those skills to serve both our Faith community and Beyond then you are welcome to join us for fellowship, devotion and laughter every Wednesday, 12:30-3:00. You may contact Darlene Hayes via email or phone H#281-367-6251, C#281-507-1148 with any questions you may have.

Tuesdays • 9:30-11:00 a.m. • Room 102

Our Tuesday Women’s group is studying 1,2,3 John. This time we are using the Life Application Bible studies published by Tyndale. This book uses a New Living Translation book with commentary and scripture found in each study book. So you will have everything you need in one place! 1,2,3 John offers us 13 lessons to help us find certainty in our faith. Our goal of our Bible study is to help us grow, make a difference and change our lives. Childcare is available by emailing Brandi to let her know names and ages of your children.
