Bible Study: Set Apart
Holy Habits of Prophets & Kings
Set Apart
by Jessica Lagrone
Study on 1 and Second Kings
Ladies Bible Study -- Tuesday Mornings
9:30 am Online & In Person in Community Room
January 19 thru March 2
Led by Ali Strand
Join our Ladies' Tuesday Morning Bible each week either online or in-person in the Community Room as we study "Set Apart" by Jessica LaGrone. Masks required until seated at table, socially distanced 6 feet. Temperature check at front desk please. Please order your book online and join us!
StudySet Apart is a dynamic six-week study of 1 and 2 Kings that examines the holy habits of the prophets and kings who were set apart by their close walk with God. Each week we will explore the central story of one of these intriguing men of God and the specific practice each observed, as well as what the Bible teaches about this practice.
Each of these characters was trying to follow God while carrying out his calling on earth. As we consider their example, we will discover that even prophets and kings struggled and grew in their faith through spiritual practices, and we will learn how to follow God’s unique purposes for us in His Kingdom.

Social Justice Connection Group
Sunday Mornings
Beginning February 7th
Book Discussion: "So You Want To Talk About Race"
by Ijeoma Oluo
Beginning February 7th
Led by Dr. Anthony Harris
The Social Justice Connectional Hour group meets via Zoom at 12:30 pm each Sunday until 1:30 pm. Please email Dr. Anthony Harris for the Zoom link invitation.
Our focus is to explore and have meaningful conversations around issues related to race, racism, class, immigration, and how Christians can respond to those issues.
It is important to note that this is NOT a book club. The books are aids and supplements to help our conversations and understandings about race and religion in our country. So, having read the books is NOT a prerequisite for joining the group. This is an open and welcoming group. It is a guilt-free zone that respects the views and beliefs of all.
