Summer Camps

Here is the information on all of our 2020 summer camps!   Registration is currently open to all volunteers, Church Members and Faith Kids families.  On March 2 we will open all of the camps to the general public.  Payment is due at sign up. We do not offer any refunds on the camps. Please email Debbie with any questions at debbie@faithumcspring.org.

Cooking Camp

June 1-5 for all kids 4-7 with parent/guardian from 9am-12pm

Children 4 - 7: $35 per child

One Parent/Guardian required: $50

The ability to cook is one of the greatest gifts God has given us.  Parents and kids team up to learn how to create delectable meals that can be made in any kitchen and enjoyed by the entire family.  


Kids 4 to 7 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  

Lakeview Camp

June 14-19, June 21-26, June 28-July 3, or July 5-10

$440 per child

Every summer, children and youth from the churches of our annual conference have the opportunity to go to camp at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center, located near Palestine, TX.  Over the course of the week, campers not only get to play games and try new activities - they also get to grow in their faith through worship and Bible studies let by ministers and youth directors.


Lakeview is open to all youth entering 3rd grade in 2020 on up including graduating seniors.

VBS

June 15-19

9am - 12pm

$20 per child

Knights of North Castle: Quest for the King's Armor invites children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God's power! They will explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor - the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation - at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.


Camp is open for children 4 years old (as of May 1st) through completed 5th grade.


Volunteers needed!! If you are able to help the whole week of VBS please email Debbie and let her know.  Volunteers will be the first ones to be able to register for any of our summer camps.

Sports Camp

June 22-26

3:30pm-6:45pm

$75 per child

This camp is designed to give the kids a fun place to learn about sports while finding God relevant in their daily lives.  Children who are 4 or 5 years old will attend "Team 45" where they will work on their basic motor skills while playing fun games.  Kids 6-12 years old may choose one sport from the following: Soccer, Basketball, Cheer-leading or Ultimate Frisbee.  We will have play time, Bible time, snack time and also learn lots of great songs and Bible versus throughout the week.

Camp Invention

July 6-10

9am-3:30pm

$250 per child

Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life.  Children entering grades K-6 gain confidence as they participate in hands-on activities inspired by world-changing National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees!  This camp is taught by local teachers and are grouped by grade level.

Robotics Camp

July 20-24

9am-12pm

1pm-4pm

$200 per child

Learn how to build robots using Lego’s while learning Bible stories. The kids will explore their God-given power to imagine and create while they are learning and having fun. 


Camp is open for children 4 years old (as of May 1st) through 12 years old.

8 years old and up: $50 per child
