Confirmation is the process through which youth learn more about their faith and are encouraged to make a decision to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. The class is open to students in 7th grade and up.
This year, Confirmation class will begin on August 19, with students getting confirmed on May 19. Through the class, students will have the opportunity to learn about the core truths of the Christian faith, to study Methodism and its history, and to spend time reflecting on their own relationship with God.

Our new Confirmation class is right around the corner, and Faith UMC is looking for volunteers to serve as mentors to our new batch of students.
Mentors will be paired with a student for the whole school year, and will support their student through prayer, check-ins, and participating in events alongside them. Serving as a confirmation mentor is a great way to build a relationship with one of our youth, and it's a chance to help them grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
If you're interested in serving as a confirmation mentor, or if you'd like more information, contact Associate Pastor Trey Burns (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Life has a purpose and we have a responsibility to help our youth REACH, CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, and HONOR God in their lives. This is accomplished by focusing on helping the students understand that we are created in God’s image and we have the opportunity to share God’s love with the world; focusing on understanding the basic need that people have to be deeply connected with others in significant relationships; focusing on the truth that we were created to know God and grow spiritually by spending time with God; exploring the reality that God’s unique design provides us with the privilege to serve others; and focusing on the truth that God rested on the seventh day to show us the importance of taking time to stop the busyness of life and focus on what’s important.
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for
the believers through your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

MATTS is a ministry for moms of teens that meet monthly at various locations in our community. Join us for laughter, support, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment as we try to understand what it's like to parent a teen!
If you have a tween or teen and would like to meet other moms that may be dealing with the same issues, please join us for lunch as we fellowship with each other!!! Feel free to bring a friend of a tween or teen as well. The more the merrier. If you have any questions about MATTS, please email Stephanie Provo.
