The last several months have been a tumultuous time in the life of the United Methodist Church. Earlier this year we watched as churches began to have conversations about leaving the United Methodist Church either to become independent or to join the newly formed Global Methodist Church. Because of the way much of this situation has developed, it has been hard to accurately convey all of the information in a way that was easy to understand and helped every church member have a better understanding of what is happening in the larger church and how that is affecting Faith UMC.  

Below are several links that have important information. One webinar has information about the Global Methodist Church while the other has information about a possible future in the UMC. Two websites are also included below. One is the official website for the Global Methodist Church and the other is the website for That We May Be One. That We May Be One is a group within the UMC looking to ensure that accurate information is conveyed to local churches.
