Children's ministry at faith

We are passionate about helping children build a genuine relationship with God through a strong biblical foundation and meaningful friendships. Every Sunday, kids (Pre-K to 6th grade) engage in age-appropriate, safe environments where they can experience the Bible in creative and relevant ways. Our Executive Director of Family Ministries, Debbie Shaw, and Assistant Director of Family Ministries, Abby Jensen, are dedicated to helping kids understand Jesus in ways that are fun, engaging, and easy to grasp.

But the fun and learning don't stop on Sundays! We also offer exciting opportunities throughout the year, including a children’s theater group, children’s choir, and a variety of special events that help kids grow in their faith and creativity.

    God's W.I.L.D. Kingdom: 

    Where kids are Willing, Inviting and Loving Disciples of Jesus Christ! 


    There are several places to participate in our W.I.L.D. Kingdom on Sundays:


    Sunday School: 

    Faith UMC offers a Traditional Sunday School that is welcoming and age appropriate for our young 'children of Faith.' Sunday school is offered during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am service for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.  There will be crafts, music, learning about the Bible and all sorts of fun activities. 


    Childcare: 

    Offered from 8:45-12:15 every Sunday morning for infants and toddlers. Children Preschool age will go in a separate room for a more detailed lesson.

    Volunteer

    We are always looking for friendly adults to help us in our continually expanding children's department. If you feel God's call to serve in a way that will have a huge impact, then prayerfully consider joining our W.I.L.D. Kingdom.

  • SUNDAY SCHOOL

    Sunday school is offered during the 9:00 and 11:00 service.  


    Kids Pre-School age and under Rooms 111 & 116

    • Please send your child with a diaper (or two) along with a change of clothes in a bag with their name clearly labeled.

    Kids in Kinder to 1st grade - Room 109

    • Please do not allow children to bring any type of toys or items to the classrooms.

    Kids 2nd - 3rd grade - Room 107

    Kids 4th - Room 105

    5th-6th grade - Room 106

    • Please have your child bring their bible.


  • Faith Childcare

    Childcare is always available during all worship services. However, reservations are required for special events. 


    Register for Special Events

    Please register via email 3 days in advance of an event/activity. Please include the number of children, their name(s) and their age(s).

    Families are the lifeblood of a dynamic, growing church! We want to enable our church family to further their own faith journey while knowing their children are being cared for in a safe, welcoming environment. 


    At Faith UMC, childcare services are provided by our capable, loving staff of child caregivers, who have been trained in basic First Aid and CPR. We offer childcare for most church sponsored events and activities by reservation as well as for all Sunday worship services.


    Our classrooms are "Nut Free", so please make sure any snack you might send with your child do not contain nuts.

  • kids night out

    KNO is open to all children 2 years of age (as of January 1, 2025) through 5th grade and runs from 6pm - 10pm. While the kids are here, they will play games, have pizza, hear a Bible story and make a craft. There will also be a movie time towards the end of the night. During the movie time we will supply the children with popcorn. (Goldfish for the youngest group) Please feel free to send your kids in their jammies if they want.

    KNO is open to all children 2 years of age (as of January 1, 2025) thru having completed the 6th grade.

    November 14 - FULL

    December 5 - FULL


    KNO is $15 for the first child and $10 for and siblings. 


    Payment for July-December is due now.
