FAITH STUDENT MINISTRY

Life has a purpose and we have a responsibility to help our youth REACH, CONNECT, GROW, SERVE, and HONOR God in their lives. This is accomplished by focusing on helping the students understand that we are created in God’s image and we have the opportunity to share God’s love with the world; focusing on understanding the basic need that people have to be deeply connected with others in significant relationships; focusing on the truth that we were created to know God and grow spiritually by spending time with God; exploring the reality that God’s unique design provides us with the privilege to serve others; and focusing on the truth that God rested on the seventh day to show us the importance of taking time to stop the busyness of life and focus on what’s important.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for

the believers through your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Ways to Help support the 412

  • stock our youth room

Our Faith Students need your help in the form of snack & drink donations. We ask that you drop the donations off in the youth building on Sundays before or after church. Please ensure all snacks are non-perishable and individually wrapped and all drinks are 2 liter bottles. Thank you all for your willingness to help our youth.

  • Our Amazon wish list

Our church youth group is a place where young hearts and minds grow in faith, friendship, and creativity. To continue providing meaningful activities, we're seeking donations of games, sports balls, and art supplies to enrich our gatherings and build lasting connections.

🖌️🎲⚾ Every gift from our Amazon Wish List helps us create a space where youth can laugh, learn, and grow closer to God and each other.

  • 4/27 or 4/30 PArent Meeting

Parents of Current 4th–11th Grade Students:

We’ll be unveiling and discussing the exciting new vision and layout for our Wednesday night program. This change will directly affect your child’s experience, and we want to make sure every family is informed, equipped, and involved from the very beginning.

This meeting is being led by Emmie Howard, Abby Jensen, and Debbie Shaw, and we are all incredibly excited to share the heart, purpose, and plans behind what’s coming next.

Please make plans to attend one of the following meetings:

    • Sunday, April 27 at 10:00 AM in the Youth Building
    • Wednesday, April 30 at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary
(6th–12th grade students will have Youth Group during the Wednesday night meeting.)

This is not just another meeting—this is a pivotal time in how we will engage and disciple your students. We’ll walk through the structure, vision, and what these changes mean for your family.

We truly cannot overstate how important it is that at least one parent or guardian attend one of these meetings. Your partnership means the world to us and plays a huge role in creating a successful and meaningful experience for your students.

Thank you for being such a vital part of our ministry family. We are so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share it with you!
